Historic America is a travel & tourism company based Washington, DC. We’re seeking passionate and punctual nerds to join our team of professional tour guides!

Whether you’re looking for a fun, flexible gig, or want to launch a rewarding career — tour guiding is a great opportunity.

There’s no experience required and we provide training.

  • 2-3 Hour Tours Start @ $150 + tips

  • Longer Tours $200 - $450 + tips

  • Bus Tours, Private Tours, School Tours, Corporate Tours

Tour sites include Arlington National Cemetery, National Mall, Tidal Basin, Smithsonian Museums, National Gallery of Art, White House neighborhood, Capitol grounds and more!

JANUARY 23rd, 24th & 25th @ 7:30 PM - The first step. Pre-register for a ZOOM informational session. Aaron and Rachel can’t wait to share this exciting opportunity with you! We’ll tell you about guiding professionally, as well as explain our interview and training process.

Last week in January - The second step. In-person interviews. You’ll be informed by February 3rd if you’ve been selected for our spring training program.

BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY - Spring training begins! We’ll provide in person logistical training for sight seeing in Washington, DC, as well as equip you with scripts, sources and storytelling skills to set you up for success.

END OF FEBRUARY - The final step: on-site evaluation—show us you’re ready to lead tours!
